Disney’s new animated fairytale The Princess And The Frog took in an impressive $24,500,000 in its debut weekend.
The film first opened in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on November 25, and so far has taken in $27,379,870.It may not be a big deal to many but to many African American parents it is!! This is the first African American Princess in the world of Disney and as a Princess. Many parents love the fact that now there is a black princess and their children can see that no matter what color you are , you can still be a princess. I definitely want to see the movie with my lil cousins and my friends kids ...if it has hit number 1 it just has to be good...yea im old but hey Im young at heart xoxo!
