Everyone knows about this hugge debate on legalizing Marajuana and why it should be legalized but now there is another reason to consider for legalizing this drug that is known for numbing the pains of AIDS and Cancer and from other opinions stomach pains and stress, now the new reason is ADHD in teens (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder),A recent article in the "New York Times" says several Bay Doctors believe THC, the active ingredient in cannabis, can have a positive effect on their patients. "It's not everybody’s medicine, but for some, it can make a profound difference,” said Valerie Corral, a founder of the Wo/Men’s Alliance for Medical Marijuana, in Santa Cruz they have two dozen minors as registered clients.(Check outhe example of one teen who was on Marajuaa for a year inside)
"A 16 year-old California teen with ADHD who had tried Ritalin unsuccessfully began using marijuana to alleviate his symptoms, the "New York Times" reported. Within the year he was getting better grades and was elected president of his special education class. He told his mother: “My brain works. I can think." Still, there remains a deep social stigma associated with marijuana use that makes it extremely difficult to gain acceptance as a viable treatment option, even though it has shown to reduce the anger and anxiety that often accompany ADHD."
Sounds like more of a reason to legalize a drug that will not kill you but only help you when it comes to certain health problems and now concentration purposes...Im just sayin!
